However, the ministry clarified that despite the alarming call, no assassination attempt has been carried out. Nonetheless, they revealed that the secretary of the Socialist Party without Borders, who oversees the party’s financial matters, has been apprehended in connection with the events.
The situation took a grave turn when the secretary’s alleged accomplices, reportedly led by elements of the Socialist Party without Borders and its president, Yaya Dillo, intentionally attacked the buildings of the country’s national security directorate (ANSE).
“This resulted in several deaths,” announced the ministry via social media, indicating the severity of the situation. Fortunately, the authorities have managed to bring the situation under control. All individuals believed to be involved in the attack have either been detained or are being actively pursued by law enforcement agencies, as stated in the official statement.
