BENUE KILLINGS: Nigerian Politicians Giving Herdsmen AK-47s – Popular Pastor REVEALS
Senior Pastor of The Second Coming of Christ Ministry, Adewale Giwa, has condemned the rising insecurity in Nigeria, particularly the recent Benue massacre, accusing politicians of collusion with armed Fulani herders and criminal elements.
In a statement issued on Sunday, Pastor Giwa expressed deep concern over what he described as the deliberate handover of Nigeria’s affairs to foreigners and criminals, stating that the country is being run by people “who want to finish everything before the expiration of their term.”
“On the Benue massacre, we have handed over the affairs of Nigeria into the hands of criminals. Is it possible to put an armed robber in charge of money in the banks? No,” he said.
Politicians Arming Herders with AK-47s — Giwa
Pastor Giwa made bold allegations, claiming that certain Nigerian politicians are not only benefiting from the activities of armed herders but are actively arming them with assault rifles to sustain personal interests, particularly in the cattle trade.
“Most of them are into the cattle business, putting terrorists in charge of it and buying them AK-47 rifles,” he claimed. “Do you want such politicians to display justice? No.”
The cleric said the continued bloodshed — especially in Middle Belt states like Benue — is the result of deliberate inaction from the political elite, who allegedly protect and sponsor violent groups for personal gain.
The fiery preacher also warned that the nation’s spiritual state is deteriorating, saying hypocrisy, deceit, and sin have distanced Nigeria from divine help.
“We are hypocrites, and that’s why it seems God doesn’t answer our prayers. We turn black to white and yellow to purple,” he said. “God doesn’t stay in an environment full of lies and deceit. His nature is inherently holy and separate from sin and evil.”
Pastor Giwa concluded by mourning the lives lost daily to terrorism and violence, stressing that Nigeria is on a dangerous path unless justice is restored and truth embraced.
“My concern is the souls of innocent Nigerians they are wasting on a daily basis,” he added.
His comments come amid growing public outrage over the latest killings in Benue State, where more than 150 people were reported dead in a deadly raid on the Yelwata community.
