He confessed to accumulating wealth, including cars and properties, through these rituals, which he claimed enabled him to control and exploit his victims effectively.
Similarly, another suspect named Lanre, aged 25, confessed to engaging in online fraud with the support of his mother, who introduced him and his younger brother to a herbalist for further enhancement of their fraudulent activities, Lanre acknowledged undergoing rituals such as ‘Oshole, which purportedly guaranteed success in internet scams. He attributed his prosperity to these practices and claimed to have evaded any negative consequences by regularly renewing his voodoo.
T-Money, a 27-year-old university dropout, admitted to resorting to black magic to augment his cybercrime endeavors after failing to find success in other ventures. He recounted seeking guidance from an Islamic cleric and transitioning from conventional dating scams to Yahoo Plus rituals in pursuit of greater financial gains. Despite acknowledging potential repercussions, T-Money expressed satisfaction with his current lifestyle.
Sir Cash, aged 28, outlined various categories of Yahoo Plus, including Oshole’ and ‘Irapada, which he claimed were utilized to amplify internet scam operations. He detailed the use of harmful rituals involving the exploitation. of innocent girls, which often resulted in severe consequences for the victims.
While acknowledging the risks associated with these practices, Sir Cash highlighted the allure of quick wealth and emphasized the importance of caution to avoid adverse outcomes.
Law enforcement authorities have initiated investigations to apprehend additional members of the Yahoo Plus syndicate, with plans to prosecute those already in custody.
