HELL IN MARRIAGE! Young Bride Stabs Sleeping Husband After Minor Argument; Her Next Move Shocked Everybody
A young lady who goes by the name, Alsha Aliyu, a 20-year-old recent bride. from Nasarawa village in Lapai Local Government Area LGA, Niger State, is accused of killing her spouse on Monday, 12th February 2024.
Locals and eyewitnesses recounted that the ugly and tragic event occurred on Monday at around one o’ clock during the wee hours of the morning, while everyone was still fast asleep, adding that the couple got married few months ago, 31st December 2023.
Shedding more light on the case, one of the sources claimed thar, the couple had a minor argument on Sunday night, 11th February 2024 but they worked things out before going to bed. Surprisingly, the mother of the deceased wake up in the middle of the night when she heard her son yelling and screaming on top of his
voice.
“When the mother came out alongside other residents in the house, they saw the husband in a pool of blood. The husband tried to run out of the room but he felt down at the doorstep and up till now, we don’t know the whereabouts of the wife, one of the sources noted.
Explaining further, the source went on to say that before delivering the final blow on her husband, the woman had stabbed him in the chest multiple times.
When asked if it was a forced union, the sources replied saying that although the duo had been dating for years, she changed her mind and wanted to marry someone else before the wedding date was set.
But even with that, issues were resolved. They started this relationship. right from secondary school and they had been together. But before the marriage, she said she was no longer interested in the relationship. But the issue was resolved and she agreed eventually, not knowing that this was her plan. She said she had a new suitor”, the source asserted.
In conclusion, when approached for confirmation, the Deputy Superintendent of Police, DSP Wasiu Abiodun, the Public Relations Officer (PPRO) of the Niger State Police Command corrobated the tragic occurrence and assured that efforts are being made to track down the fleeing suspect.
He noted, 12/02/2024 at about 1200hrs, information was received that
in the early hours of Monday, one Idris Ahmadu of Nasarawa village, via Lapal was stabbed to death by his wife, Aisha Aliyu (19/20yrs) of the same address”. Before the arrival of the police at the scene, the suspect had fled to an unknown destination, while effort is being intensified to arrest the fleeing suspect. Case under investigation please, the police correspondent affirmed.
