A woman from Nigeria recounted BET NOW awful incident via her social med TAKE handle on Twitter to the general public on how her father intentionally used a machete on her elder sister for coming back home late, explaining that her father was a disciplined and retired military man who treated his family with utter strictness, adding that her elder sister went into her room thinking their dad has forgiven her after begging him only for him to enter all of a sudden and slice a big hole on her leg. Explaining further, she continued saying, “I laugh when people say they were raised by strict and mean parents, you’ ve not met my beloved father! My dad cut my big sister’s leg with cutlass just because she came back home late (I mean few minutes past 6p. m in the evening)No, she wasn’t adopted?, she was his own flesh and blood”.
She added that, my father, a retired soldier used to beat us as if we were at war with him, he once invited the police to take away my brother, his only son, into custody simply because he went into gambling, he would never punish us during the day, instead he waits till it’s in the middle of the night, when we’ re deep in sleep and have probably forgotten about what we did.
In addition, the lady who pleaded anonymity went on to say that, on this specific day, her big sister left her computer training sessions early to go hang out with her friends so she ended up returning home by past six o’ clock and greeted my dad at home. She was terrified, certain that she was in big trouble and waited outside the house till our mother came back around eight o’ clock.
“My mother carried her inside and they both apologized to our dad, he accepted and told her not to do it again, he even offered her some apples and pat her head saying good girl, it’s okay, you’ re my daughter. At this point, she was now relaxed and everything was normal, we all had dinner and went to bed. Around 12a. m, my father entered my big sister’ s room with a cutlass, carefully targeted her leg and boom! He gave her a deep
cut”.
Quite unfortunately, the lady disclosed saying, big sister screamed on top of her voice with blood all over the place and everybody barges into the room. Sister was crying, mum was screaming, my brother was shouting, well, me? Of course, I was wailing. My father jejely lifted her and carried her into the car, we all entered and he headed straight to the clinic.
“On our way, he just kept saying, any day you ever think of keeping late night and see this wound, you wll definitely start running back home. She was taken care of at the clinic, he paid the bill, took us home. No one could shut an eye till day break except him of course, he went into his room anf and slept peacefully till date, we don’t ever keep late nights”, she concluded.
