Mary Ololuwa was allegedly attacked by her ex- husband, Olamilekan Morekeji, during a confrontation regarding their children. The incident took place on January 25th at approximately 2: 00 pm. The couple had been experiencing ongoing issues that eventually led to their divorce.
A police source revealed that Olamilekan Morekeji stopped Mary on her way to her shop at Bako Estate in Ajegunle and demanded information about their kids.
When Mary declined to provide the details, Olamilekan assaulted her, using a large stone to injure her head and face.
It was only thanks to the intervention of some bystanders that Mary was rescued and taken to the Irawo Hospital for urgent medical attention.
Meanwhile, Olamilekan Morekeji was apprehended by the police and is currently in custody.
