Popular Nigerian talent manager and entertainment executive, Soso Soberekon, has stirred major buzz online after proposing a high-stakes boxing match between controversial singer Portable and outspoken activist VeryDarkMan (VDM).
The offer, shared via Soso’s verified Instagram page, included a total prize of ₦120 million — with ₦100 million set aside for the winner and ₦20 million for the loser. The proposed bout instantly drew attention, promising to be one of the most talked-about face-offs in Nigerian entertainment.
However, in a new video making rounds online, VeryDarkMan strongly rejected the offer. He called out Soso, saying:
“Soso, you’re actually very disrespectful for offering me ₦120 million. If you want me to do a boxing match with Portable, bring $800,000, then we can start talking.”
Similarly, Portable had earlier dismissed the ₦100 million prize, insisting that it was not enough for him to fight someone like VDM.
