Five Man United players submit exit requests
Manchester United have been hit by a wave of transfer requests from five senior players as the club prepare for a major squad overhaul under manager Ruben Amorim.
According to a Fabrizio Romano, Marcus Rashford, Alejandro Garnacho, Jadon Sancho, Antony, and Tyrell Malacia have all informed the club of their desire to leave this summer.
The decision throws fresh challenge into United’s pre-season plans, which are set to begin next week.
Rashford is reportedly pushing for a move to Barcelona, with the 27-year-old understood to favour a switch to the Camp Nou over domestic offers.
Sancho is in advanced discussions with Juventus, who are keen to sign the winger permanently after his loan spell at Chelsea.
United are said to be demanding around £25 million for the England international.
Antony, who spent last season on loan at Real Betis, is also attracting interest.
While Betis are hoping to bring him back, financial constraints may hinder a deal.
Serie A club Como and Bundesliga side Bayer Leverkusen are also monitoring his situation.
Garnacho’s future remains unresolved, though Chelsea are reportedly keeping tabs on the 21-year-old forward.
His limited involvement in the closing stages of last season, including being benched in the Europa League final, raised questions about his long-term role at the club.
