I SLEPT With 12 Men Every Day; See HEARTBREAKING Story Of 14- Year- Old Girl Who Turned To Prostitute
A teenage girl from Delta State has narrated a heartbreaking story to journalists, she explained how she came to Ogun State and turned to a prostitute who slept with men for a stipend. The story of the girl was unveiled after security operatives busted the hotel where she was working. This girl did not engage in prostitution on her wish, she was lured into it, the detailed story will be narrated here.
The operatives of the Ogun State Security Network, popularly known as Amotekun Corps raided the Railway line hotel, located along the old bank road in Ifo and rescued some victims of human trafficking. The victims are young girls between the age of 12 to 39 years. About 14 victims were rescued. It was gathered that all of them were trafficked from Delta to Ogun by one who was identified as Idem Joy (now in police custody).
Among the victims, there was a 14- year- old girl who narrated her story to journalists. She narrated that she was a JSS 3 dropout and before she was brought to Ifo in Ogun State, she was told that she would be working as a salesgirl only for her to end up turning into a prostitute.
She said Idem brought her to the hotel and when she got there, she was given some drugs. She alleged that Idem cut some hair from her (the victim’ s) head and told her that she would use it to kill her if she ran away.
When she was asked how much she was paid, the teenage girl said she used to make N20k per day depending on the number of customers they had. She said she slept with 10 to 12 men a day and they used to pay N1, 000 and sometimes N2, 000.
Some other victims also narrated their stories and it is very painful. It is sad that some people (wicked ones) are taking advantage of other people’ s vulnerability. The girl was trying to work and earn legit money for herself but she was deceived. And due to her age, she could not escape because of the threat. Idem and the owner of the hotel are in the custody of the Ogun State law enforcement agency. What is your reaction to this matter?
