WICKEDNESS! ! Notorious Gunmen Kidnap Farm Manager And IT Students In Ondo, See Their SHOCKING Demand
In a disturbing incident on Saturday evening, February 8, 2025, unidentified gunmen kidnapped three individuals from a farm in Oke Oge, Oba Ile, located in Akure North Local Government Area of Ondo State. The victims, whose identities remain undisclosed at the time of this report, include the farm manager and two Industrial Training (IT) students who were undergoing practical experience at the facility.
This abduction occurred just weeks after another violent attack in the same local government area, where suspected herdsmen allegedly killed five laborers working on a farm in the Ajegunle- Powerline community.
According to a local source, the farm, situated near Akure Airport, is owned by a former commissioner in the state. It specializes in cultivating crops such as tomatoes and peppers. ” Those kidnapped are IT students who were undergoing training on the farm. It is a tomato and pepper plantation owned by a former commissioner, ” the source stated.
Confirming the incident on Sunday, February 9, 2025, the Commander of the Ondo State Security Network Agency, also known as Amotekun, Akogun Adetunji Adeleye, assured the public that security forces were actively working to track down the kidnappers and rescue the victims. ” We are fully aware of the situation. The victims were abducted on their way back from the farm. Our operatives have been deployed to rescue them and apprehend the perpetrators, ” Adeleye declared.
A family source revealed that the kidnappers have made contact and are demanding a ransom of ₦15 million for the release of the three captives. ” The kidnappers reached out to the families and insisted on a ₦15 million ransom. After making their demand, they switched off their phone, making further communication impossible, ” the source disclosed. Amotekun and other security operatives, are working tirelessly to ensure the safe return of the victims. The authorities have not provided additional details on any progress made in the investigation.
