DEAD Man Ruled Nigeria For 6 Years, MAD People Everywhere: Nnamdi Kanu’s Brother Fires At Buhari’s Aide
Kanunta Kanu, the brother of Nnamdi Kanu, the detained leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), has responded sharply to criticism from Bashir Ahmad, a former aide to ex- President Muhammadu Buhari.
Ahmad had taken to social media to criticise Nnamdi Kanu over his recent courtroom outburst, describing him as ” rude” and ” arrogant” . This came after a viral video surfaced showing Kanu passionately arguing in court and reprimanding a lawyer.
Reacting to the video, Ahmad wrote on his social media page: ” Nnamdi Kanu’ s arrogance is on full display here. It seems he has no respect for others, especially his subordinates. Tapping a grown man aggressively like that and yelling at him, who does he think he is that no one should talk while he is talking? Kanu should know that respect is earned, not forced! ”
In another post, Ahmad doubled down on his stance, again calling Kanu ” rude” and ” arrogant” . He further stated: ” Nnamdi Kanu is rude and arrogant. Tapping a grown man aggressively and yelling at him like that. Who does he think he is that no one should talk while he is talking? I blame that lawyer. ”
In a swift reaction, Kanunta Kanu took to social media to fire back at Ahmad, accusing him of misunderstanding the situation and mocking Nigeria’ s political system.
He wrote: ” @BashirAhmaad if saying the truth in Nigerian court means arrogant in your own definition, I agree with you that #MaziNnamdikanu is a true definition of arrogance. That’ s why a dead man ruled Nigeria for 6 years in the name of ‘ this is our turn’ and nobody could say a word. Mad people everywhere. ”
The courtroom video that sparked the controversy showed Nnamdi Kanu passionately arguing about Nigerian laws. He accused the prosecution and the court of failing to understand and follow the law.
In the footage, Kanu was heard saying: ” Listen, this is the law of Nigeria. The prosecution and this court don’ t know the law, that’ s the fact. Poor knowledge of the law is killing Nigeria.
” This is a federally gazetted law of Nigeria, and the Chief Judge cannot tell Mr Nyako what to do. It’ s your law; just obey it! That’ s why I do what I do.
” I agitate for Biafra, it’ s my right! They turned it from a charge of criminal felony to terrorism. ”

At one point in the video, Kanu, visibly angry, interrupted a lawyer, commanding: ” Stop talking when I’ m talking! ”
Nnamdi Kanu remains a highly controversial figure, with supporters viewing him as a freedom fighter and critics, including Bashir Ahmad, seeing his actions as disrespectful and disruptive. His ongoing trial and statements continue to stir political debates in Nigeria.
