An aspiring actress, known to many as Vivian, who has become widely known in the wake of the controversial audition scandal involving veteran Nollywood star Ngozi Ezeonu, has courageously stepped forward to share her side of the story.
Recall, that the viral video that set the stage for the uproar showed Ezeonu, known for her tough love and unflinching standards, addressing two young women—Vivian, the fair-skinned lady, and her dark-skinned friend, during an audition at a public restaurant.
The iconic actress, visibly displeased, questioned the young women about their choice to attend the audition without wearing bras, a remark that immediately sparked an outpouring of opinions from fans and critics alike.
In a tearful clip, the fair-skinned actress took to social media to explain how she ended up at the audition. She revealed that she and her friend had dressed casually to grab a meal at the restaurant, which was being used as the venue for Ngozi Ezeonu’s audition.
According to her, both of them, driven by their passion for acting, decided to seize the opportunity and try their luck, reiterating that their ‘braless’ outfits were never meant for the audition.
In a painful revelation, she confessed that her father, devastated by the public shaming, slapped her in anger, and accused her of tarnishing the reputation of the family.
But the worst, she said, came from the online world. The young actress tearfully shared how she had become the target of unrelenting ridicule, dragged through the mud by trolls who reveled in her humiliation.
