Donald Trump Receives Unexpected Message As Nigerian Soldiers Reportedly Burn Civilians To Death In Enugu
The Biafra Defence Headquarters has levelled serious accusations against the Nigerian military, alleging the killing of civilians and the burning of homes in Eha Amufu, a community in Isi Uzo Local Government Area of Enugu State. The allegations were made in a post on X, formerly known as Twitter, and tagged the United States President- elect, Donald Trump.

According to the post cited by LATEST_NEWS Blog, the Biafra Defence Headquarters stated: ” After liberating Ehamufu from the killers herdermen occupation, the Nigerian terrorist military returned their burning houses and killing civilians as of yesterday, the 2nd of January, and today, the 3rd of January 2025. Many people were burnt alive while taking a nap in their rooms. @realDonaldTrump. ”
The claims, which are yet to be independently verified, have raised fresh concerns about the ongoing security crisis in southeastern Nigeria. The Biafra Defence Headquarters has accused the Nigerian military of perpetuating violence against unarmed civilians in a region already troubled by conflicts between local communities and herdsmen.
In a related development, Ngozi Orabueze, the Chief of Staff to the Prime Minister of the United Biafra Republic, Simon Ekpa, has dismissed reports suggesting that the Nigerian government plans to extradite Ekpa from Finland. Ekpa was arrested by Finnish authorities in November 2024 over allegations of inciting terrorism in southeastern Nigeria.
Orabueze, who also serves as Ekpa’ s deputy, made the remarks in a statement posted on her X account on Thursday. She criticised the Nigerian government’ s claims as baseless and asserted that Finland has no legal framework to extradite its nationals to non- European Union countries.
She added that discussions to lift the restrictions on Simon Ekpa were progressing and noted that he now had improved access to his family.
Checks conducted by Nigerian Newssphere corroborate Orabueze’ s statement, revealing that Finland’ s Ministry of Justice stipulates strict conditions for extradition. These include limiting extradition of Finnish nationals to member states of the European Union or other Nordic countries.

The Ministry’ s website states: ” Finland will not extradite its own nationals other than under certain conditions to the member states of the EU and other Nordic states. ”
Orabueze further alleged that the Nigerian government’ s extradition claims are a diversionary tactic aimed at stifling Biafra’ s political aspirations.
