TAKE HEED! Primate Ayodele Issues Powerful Warning To Gov. Makinde On SHARIA LAW Establishment; See Details
The Leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Elijah Ayodele, has cautioned the Governor of Oyo State, Seyi Makinde, to quickly address the issue of the proposed Sharia law establishment in the state.
The Lagos- based Man of God made the remarks in a statement released to the media on Tuesday by his media aide, Osho Oluwatosin.
Primate Ayodele cautioned Governor Makinde not to allow his state to burn because the proposal could generate chaos and a long- term theological problem.
The man of God stated that Sharia law is inappropriate in Yorubaland and will only undermine Makinde’ s authority since he cannot support it.
He stated that it will not be relevant or have any meaningful impact in the country.
Ayodele stated, ” The projected implementation of Sharia law in Yorubaland is inappropriate, and it will bring problems for the administration.
” Seyi Makinde should be careful not to ruin Oyo State because they won’ t be able to sustain it.
” This will lead to a religious crisis and doesn’ t have any relevance.
” Our leaders just start on a good note and end it badly. It is not in people’ s interest, it’ s a means to cause division. It will be a disaster for the state and country.
” The governor needs to address it urgently; it’ s not reasonable and sensible. ”
Primate Ayodele emphasized that Nigerian politicians must comprehend the instruments of progress, and Sharia law is not one of them, but rather an instrument of division.
He continued, ” Sharia law will have no sensible impact on the country; we do not have leaders that understand the instrument that will bring growth.
” Sharia law will bring no development to the country, just as reliance on crude oil will not result in considerable improvement.
” All we should be thinking about is development but instead of the government of Oyo to think of development, they are dragging religion into the system. “
