BETRAYAL? Simon Ekpa’s Boys Accuse Peter Obi Of Abandoning Their Leader In Prison After He Saved His Life
Igwe Butuzor, the commander of the Biafra Liberation Army, popularly known as C- ROZ, has made serious allegations against Peter Obi, the Labour Party’ s 2023 presidential candidate in Nigeria. In a post on X (formerly Twitter), C- ROZ accused Obi of abandoning Simon Ekpa, a controversial self- proclaimed Prime Minister of the Biafra Republic Government in Exile, who is currently detained in Finland facing terrorism charges.
C- ROZ claimed that Ekpa played a vital role in protecting Obi from an assassination plot allegedly orchestrated by what he terms the ” Zoo, ” a derogatory label often used by Biafra separatists to refer to the Nigerian government. However, he expressed disappointment that Obi has not publicly addressed Ekpa’ s detention by Finnish authorities.
In an impassioned post, C- ROZ remarked: ” I remembered when intel’ s popped up about assassination of Peter Obi, the prime minister Simon kept took it upon himself, left everything, and warned the zoo that IF anything happens to Peter Obi, then we must come very hard on them. Immediately, they stopped that process, but today, WHAT has Peter said about p. m. ? That is an Igbo man for you. ”
It is important to know that Peter Obi has had recently sent his 2025 New Year message to Nigerians. In a heartfelt New Year message widely shared on social media, Obi acknowledged the socio- economic challenges facing the country, urging citizens to remain hopeful and steadfast.
