Lukarawa Terrorist Allegedly Confesses, Reveals Date ISWAP Terrorists, French Gov’t Signed Agreement To Establish Terror Base In Sokoto
In a revealing interview, Niger’ s President, General Abdourahamane Tiani, made striking allegations concerning a purported agreement between the French government and the Lakurawa terrorist group, facilitated by ISWAP (Islamic State West Africa Province). According to Tiani, the plot centres on establishing a terrorist base in Gaba village, Sokoto State, in northern Nigeria.
Speaking on the matter, Tiani stated, ” The agreement was signed on March 4, 2024, between ISWAP and the French government. ” He further elaborated that the forested area around Gaba village was designated to serve as an operational base for the terrorists. From there, they would allegedly launch attacks targeting the Sokoto, Zamfara, and Kebbi regions, intensifying insecurity in northern Nigeria.
Tiani revealed that his government, upon discovering the plot, felt compelled to alert Nigerian authorities due to the close ties between the two nations. He expressed dismay that initial reactions from Nigerian leaders were dismissive. ” They thought it was a joke, ” Tiani remarked, but emphasised that his government could not remain silent about a development that posed significant risks to regional security.
Niger formally communicated its concerns to Nigeria’ s National Intelligence Agency (NIA) and the office of the National Security Adviser. Ahmed Rufai Abubakar, the former Director General of the NIA, reportedly promised to send a delegation to investigate the claims.

” The terrorists confirmed to the delegation what the French government is plotting. Unfortunately, there was a compromise, and today you see the result, ” Tiani stated, implying that the Nigerian authorities may have mishandled the intelligence or failed to act decisively.
