Again Another Governor approves N100,000 Christmas bonus
Rivers State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara, has approved a N100,000 Christmas bonus for civil servants, public servants, and pensioners in the state.
The announcement was made on Tuesday by the Head of Service, George Nwaeke, who confirmed that the approval was granted on Monday to ensure residents enjoy a pleasant Christmas celebration.
Meanwhile, in a Christmas message, Governor Fubara urged the people of Rivers State to embrace peace, unity, and love during the festive season and beyond.
In a statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Nelson Chukwudi, the governor encouraged citizens to use the occasion for deep reflection, prayer, and a commitment to building a more harmonious, united, and progressive society.
Governor Fubara emphasized the importance of peaceful coexistence, noting that it is crucial for addressing the nation’s economic and security challenges.
He highlighted the state government’s commitment to enhancing the welfare of its people through ongoing investments in infrastructure, healthcare, education, and economic development.
