NoMore GAY In AMerica? Trump Vows To End “Transgender Lunacy” On Day One Of Presidency
President-elect Donald Trump has vowed to take swift action on transgender issues and other conservative priorities as he prepares to assume office.
Speaking at the AmericaFest conference in Phoenix, Arizona, on Sunday, Trump promised to sign executive orders on his first day in office to end what he called “transgender lunacy.”
“I will sign executive orders to end child sexual mutilation, get transgender out of the military and out of our elementary schools and middle schools and high schools,” he said. He also pledged to ban transgender participation in women’s sports, declaring that the U.S. government would officially recognize “only two genders, male and female.”

Trump outlined additional plans to combat “migrant crime,” designate drug cartels as foreign terrorist organizations, and restore U.S. control of the Panama Canal. His remarks reflect Republican-led efforts to restrict gender-affirming care and transgender-related topics in public education, as Democrats have moved in the opposite direction.
Trump, who defeated President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris in the 2024 election, criticized the current administration, promising to usher in a “new era of peace, prosperity, and national greatness” when he takes office on January 20, 2025.
