Tragedy struck as some people were found dead on the road in Mexico. One of the deceased who was identified as Jesus was very popular in the country because of his personality and the position he held in the government. The residents and families of the deceased were shocked to find the corpses of the victims. A close observation revealed that the deceased were murdered.

Jesus Eduardo Franco, a prominent politician in Mexico has been announced dead. The deceased was the mayor of Tancanhuitz municipality in the country’ s central San Luis Potosi State. He contested and won the post under the ruling Morena party. Jesus was found dead inside a car alongside three other people who were also politicians. Their bodies were found with gunshot injuries.
The president of the Morena party, president Rita Rodriguez, confirmed the tragic incident via a post released on her X handle. It was confirmed that the four victims were shot inside the car and abandoned by their killers. Rita disclosed in her social media post that necessary authorities had been informed about the incident and they were told to carry out a thorough investigation to know the cause of the murder and those behind the killing.
Meanwhile, the killing was coming barely a month after Alejandro Arcos, a politician who was newly elected as the mayor of Guerrero State was brutally killed. His killers murdered him, severed his head, and placed the head at the top of a pickup truck. It was a gory scene and embarrassing. Those behind the brutal killing are yet to be identified or arrested.
The country has been plagued by violence linked to organized crime. The miscreants behind the violence were targeting politicians and people holding government offices. Dozens of targeted people have been murdered in the past years. It was suspected that the attacks were because of the decision made by the Mexican government, where the army was deployed to fight drug cartels, thousands of people were reportedly murdered by the soldiers while many of the criminal elements were missing.
