During a press briefing held at the command’ s headquarters along Moscow Road in Port Harcourt on Thursday, Commissioner of Police Mustapha Mohammed provided details about the operation that led to ThankGod’ s demise. He explained that ThankGod’ s criminal activities included murder, kidnapping, and vandalizing oil pipelines and government facilities. His downfall came during an intelligence- led operation while he was allegedly attempting to abduct a target in Ahoada East Local Government Area on Thursday afternoon.
Commissioner Mohammed revealed that ThankGod had been on the police’ s wanted list since 2021 for various crimes, including the murders of a man and his wife, indicating that he had been evading capture for quite some time. ” The Rivers State Police Command has successfully neutralized a notorious kidnap kingpin and murder suspect, Nkem ThankGod, a. k. a. ‘ 2man, ‘ aged 42, from Ogbologbolo Community, Ahoada West Local Government Area, ” the Commissioner stated.
