DSS and police take over Emir of Kano palace
Armed policemen and operatives of the State Security Service, SSS, have surrounded the Kano Emir’s Palace, Kofar Kudu barring entry and exit from the palace.
Emir Muhammadu Sanusi II is expected to escort the newly-appointed Wamban Kano, Munir Sanusi, to his district posting in Bichi.

According to Daily Nigerian, the Bichi palace is also surrounded by armed policemen.
