PANIC As IPOB Hunts Man Who Reported Simon Ekpa To Finnish Police
Following the arrest and the arraignment of Simon Ekpa, a pro- Biafra agitator and leader, by the Finnish Police, there is currently panic among the Igbo communities in the foreign country.
Ekpa who had been based in Finland and using his social media handles to cause problems in the South East region of Nigeria, was said to have been arrested and charged for terrorism- related activities after a Nigerian man living in Finland reported him to the country’ s police.
A Nigerian community leader in Finland who spoke to one of PUNCH correspondents admitted that the arrest of Ekpa is currently causing panics and every Igbo Nigerian is afraid to talk about him in Finland.

” Everyone is afraid to speak about Ekpa’ s arrest. The key people in Finland and the Igbo community at large are not ready to lend their voices either” , he simply said, while conversing with the PUNCH correspondent.
He noted that some persons have been accused of causing Ekpa’ s arrest and were being threatened. A particular person who allegedly reported him is now being tracked by the secessionist group. IPOB is reportedly on his trail.
Describing the IPOB group as deadly, the source also said, ” A particular person they accused now, they’ re after him. This happened before he (Ekpa) was even remanded— what will happen when they imprison him? Everyone is afraid. ”
Another resident who also spoke also confirmed that there have been tensions among Nigerians in Finland following the arrest of Ekpa. The resident asserted that Ekpa’ s followers are ready to hunt whoever talks about their leader. But the Finnish authorities are trying to ensure this doesn’ t happen.
Following Ekpa’ s arrest, his social media handles which he had been using to promote terrorism in the South East region of Nigeria have been inactive.
