FATAL! 4 Brutally KILLED As Simon Ekpa’s Biafra Army Allegedly ATTACK Cameroonian Terrorist Forces In Devastating Ambush
Simon Ekpa, the self- proclaimed Prime Minister of Biafra, has announced a significant victory for the Biafran forces in a devastating ambush against Cameroonian terrorist forces in Isangele, Bakassi Peninsula. According to Ekpa’ s statement on his verified social media handle, at least four Cameroonian terrorists were killed in a 45- minute gun battle between the Biafra Indigenous Right (BIR) and Biafra Navy on Saturday morning.
This development is the latest in the ongoing conflict between Biafran separatists and neighboring countries, including Cameroon. Ekpa, a Finnish politician and Biafran activist, has been at the forefront of the Biafran independence movement since 2019. He declared the activation of the Biafra Government In Exile in 2022 and appointed himself Prime Minister in 2023.
The Biafran forces, allegedly backed by Ekpa, have been engaged in clashes with Cameroonian and Nigerian forces in recent months. Ekpa has claimed responsibility for several attacks, including the killing of Nigerian police operatives in July 2024, whom he classified as ” terrorists” .
The Nigerian government has repeatedly called for Ekpa’ s extradition from Finland, accusing him of terrorism, kidnapping, and other crimes. The conflict has sparked concerns about regional stability and human rights abuses. The African Court on Human and Peoples’ Rights has acknowledged a petition by the Biafra Republic Government in Exile regarding the detention of Nnamdi Kanu, a prominent Biafran leader.
As tensions escalate, Ekpa has announced plans to declare Biafra’ s independence on December 2, 2024. The Nigerian government has vowed to prevent this, and the international community is watching with concern.
The Biafran conflict has a long history, dating back to the 1960s when the region declared independence from Nigeria. The conflict has resulted in significant human suffering and displacement. Ekpa’ s actions have been met with both support and criticism from various quarters, with some viewing him as a freedom fighter and others as a terrorist.
The situation remains volatile, with ongoing clashes between Biafran forces and neighboring countries. The international community is urged to monitor the situation closely and encourage dialogue and peaceful resolution.
