UP ARMY! ! Terrorists Leaders Begging To Surrender After Brutal Military Onslaught
According to the Defence Headquarters (DHQ), the military has made its surrendering corridors available to anyone who had shown a desire in doing so. This was disclosed by Edward Buba, the Director of Defence Media Operations, during a press conference on the military operations on Thursday in Abuja, according to Naija News.
According to Buba, several of the leaders of terrorist organizations active in the North- Central region have expressed a desire to turn themselves in and put down their weapons. He claimed that the terrorists were aware of their inability to compete with the military’ s might.
He added, ” The options open to them is to surrender or be killed on the battlefield. Accordingly, some terrorist leaders, commanders and combatants have indicated surrender. We are opening a surrendering corridor for that purpose. ”
The emergence of a new terrorist organization known as ” Lukarawas, ” which is worsening the situation in northwest Nigeria, has also been confirmed by the Defense Headquarters.
The Director of Defence Media Operations, Maj. – Gen. Edward Buba, revealed this during a military briefing on Thursday in Abuja, where he gave an update on ongoing military operations, according to Naija News. Buba claims that the group came from the Republic of Niger after a recent coup that broke off Niger and Nigeria’ s military collaboration.
According to reports, Lukarawas, who is associated with Islamic State for Iraq and Syria (ISIS), invaded Nigeria after the Niger Republic coup, which caused the military collaboration between Nigeria and Niger to deteriorate. Nonetheless, the DHQ claimed to have located the terrorists and would shortly expel them from the area.
