JUST IN: TINUBU appoints new DG NSC
Mallam Shehu Dikko has been appointed Director General of the National Sports Commission (NSC).

This was after President Tinubu scrapped the Ministry of Sports and replaced it with the NSC.
Minister of the defunct Ministry of Sports Development, Sen. John Owan Enoh, has been reassigned as Minister of State for Trade and Investment.

Shehu Dikko was formerly the League Management Company chairman. He was appointed on December 26, 2014 and reappointed Chairman on April 4, 2019.
