SAD NEWS: Kaduna Turns Bloody As Governor Sani’s Men Reportedly Shoot Young Boy To Death
In a tragic incident on Saturday, a woman named Fatimah has accused the convoy of the Kaduna State Governor, Uba Sani, of killing her younger brother in Kawo, Kaduna State. The young boy was reportedly shot during what was described as an indiscriminate shooting by the governor’ s security personnel.
Fatimah, in an emotional outburst, shared her grief and anger in videos posted on the social media platform X by Muhammad Kabir. Speaking in Hausa, she expressed her disbelief and sorrow over her brother’ s untimely death, insisting that he was innocent and had not done anything to provoke such violence.
” He is my younger brother. He didn’ t provoke anyone, yet they took his life. I can’ t forgive them; may God curse them. Uba Sani, we will not forgive you for killing a young boy, ” Fatimah lamented. She went on to criticize the government’ s treatment of citizens, stating that the people have a right to choose their leaders without fear of violence.
” This is too much. Is this how they treat us? Just shooting and killing citizens? We have the right to choose our leaders, ” she added. Fatimah vowed not to let the incident go unaddressed and declared that God would hold those responsible accountable. ” God will take care of the APC, ” she concluded.
The death of the young boy, whose name has not been revealed, has sparked outrage in the community. Tahir Abubakar, another witness, confirmed the incident in a social media post on Sunday. He accused Governor Sani’ s convoy of being directly responsible for the boy’ s death, stating that the governor’ s security forces fired tear gas and opened fire during the uproar that followed the governor’ s visit.
Abubakar expressed his disappointment, saying, ” Governor Uba Sani’ s actions undermined our democracy, and tragically, his convoy was involved in the killing of an innocent boy. This isn’ t the democracy our past leaders fought for; it’ s an outright tyranny. ”
The incident has raised serious concerns about the use of force by security personnel attached to political leaders in Nigeria. The government has yet to issue an official statement regarding the allegations.
