Olukoya’s MFM Church In TROUBLE As They Lose Two Cases Against Top Social Media Influencer
A District Court of Maryland, United States has set aside two cases filed by the Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries (MFM) against a Nigerian social media influencer and YouTuber Mrs. Funke Ashekun over alleged electronics communication harassment.
One of the cases was filed by Adekunle Adekola, the former personal assistant of the church’ s General Overseer, Dr. Daniel Olukoya, who is now a pastor at the MFM Rockville branch in Maryland.
The second action was brought by Kunle Ladipo, the MFP pastor for Bowie Branch in Maryland.
Since January 4, 2022, the couple has accused Ashekun of harassing them through her social media sites. She was accused of identifying one of the pastors as the boss of a street gang in Lagos before becoming Olukoya’ s personal assistant.
In a handwritten letter obtained by the media, one of the plaintiffs, Ladipo, accused Ashekun of harassing and creating false narratives about him in videos. He alleged that Ashekun accused him of committing illegal and immoral acts with no proof or justification.
The cases were heard on October 11, 2024 by Judge John C. Moffett, according to the court document obtained by media.
” The two cases were set aside and dismissed for a lack of evidence, ” Ashekun stated. ” The Court’ s finding is as follows: ELEC COMM HARASS, Plea- Other Plea Verdict- Nolle Prosequi, ” it states in the paperwork.
” DK Olukoya attempted to utilize his structures on the ground in America to oppress and gag me in order to keep his crimes and oppression of his members hidden from the rest of the world, but he failed.
” He has used his pastors and branches in the US to slam me with four court different cases within this year alone, that’ s an abuse of court process.
” I know justice will prevail because all I say about him is true! ” , she stated.
