Amid HUNGER & Hardship, TINUBU Reveals His Plan For 2027 Election; You Won’t Believe What He Said
President Bola Tinubu has finally spoken about the next presidential election amid the public outcry over the economy hardship and hunger crisis under his administration.
The President claimed that his primary focus is not on the 2027 general election but on securing the long- term prosperity of Nigeria for future generations.
Tinubu made this statement during the All Progressives Congress (APC) South- West Zonal Assembly held in Lagos.
The event, hosted by Lagos Governor Babajide Sanwo- Olu, saw the attendance of several state governors and prominent political leaders, including Ekiti Governor Biodun Oyebanji, Ondo Deputy Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa, and Ogun State Governor Dapo Abiodun.
Other notable figures at the gathering were former interim national chairman of the APC Bisi Akande, ex- Ogun governors Olusegun Osoba and Ibikunle Amosun, and Lagos GAC leader Tajudeen Olusi.
President Tinubu, represented by his Chief of Staff, Femi Gbajabiamila, expressed his concern for the economic challenges facing Nigerians but remained optimistic about the future.
Gbajabiamila conveyed the president’ s message, underscoring that Tinubu’ s focus is not on short- term political goals, such as winning the next election, but on ensuring a brighter future for the next generation.
” Mr. President has asked me to tell you that he is not thinking of the next election but the next generation, ” Gbajabiamila said.
” He knows he has taken a very tough decision, but he sees the light at the end of the tunnel. The time will come when we will all thank him for the decision. ”
” The challenges of our country are diverse; it is very immense. You cannot know the extent until you get there. I see that Mr. President has nothing in his mind but the progress of Nigeria. ”
