CONFESSION! Bobrisky Called My Son From Prison Requesting N3Million To Be Moved To VIP Area- Falana Admits
In light of recent allegations involving the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) and the Nigeria Correctional Services, a prominent social media influencer named Martins Otse, widely known as VeryDarkMan, made assertions that the EFCC dismissed money laundering charges against Idris Okuneye, popularly known as Bobrisky, following a purported payment of N15 million. These claims prompted the House of Representatives to initiate an inquiry into the matter.
The key figures embroiled in this controversy are Falz, the son of renowned human rights lawyer Femi Falana, Femi Falana himself, Bobrisky, and VeryDarkMan. According to VeryDarkMan, Bobrisky sought assistance from Falz and his father, Femi Falana, in securing pardon and placement in a VIP section of the prison. Amidst these accusations, Femi Falana clarified during an interview on Channels TV with Seun that he has never had any interaction with Bobrisky, never crossed paths with him, and lacks personal acquaintance with the controversial figure.
However, Femi Falana acknowledged that Bobrisky did approach his son, Falz, in May for help. Allegedly, Bobrisky had also asked for assistance from other individuals. Specifically, Bobrisky requested 3 million naira from Falz to secure placement in a designated area of the prison colloquially referred to as the VIP section.
In response, Femi Falana recounted how his son inquired whether Bobrisky had the prison superintendent’ s approval, to which Bobrisky responded in the negative. Consequently, Falz advised Bobrisky against making further calls without proper authorization and cautioned him about engaging in bribery due to his existing incarceration. Falz directed Bobrisky to communicate through the superintendent or submit a letter endorsed by the prison officials in any future attempts at contact.
