“Obayangban Urges Nigerians to Reinforce Belief in Nation’s Progress on 64th Independence Anniversary”
As Nigerians celebrate the country’s 64th Independence, Governor Aiyedatiwa’s aide on Afforestation, Hon Bidemi Joshua Obayangban, has charged Nigerians to reinforce believe in the country to work for all and sundry.
Hon Obayangban said this on Tuesday in a statement he personally signed and released to the media in celebration of Nigeria’s Independence Day.
The statement reads in part: “As we mark Nigeria’s 64th Independence celebration, we celebrate Nigerians at home and in the diaspora on another momentous national event. Nigeria’s 64th years of nationhood have been a significant one in terms of the contributions the country has made to global peace, and development as a key player in regional and global development strides.
“It is true that, like every other country in the world, Nigeria deals with its own domestic challenges. Daunting as they seem, it is daily making delibrate efforts towards improvements. These challenges notwithstanding, Nigeria is not down and out. And this reassuring to the extent that all hope is not lost after all, and that the giant in us can still be awakened. We must therefore reinforce our believe in the country to work for all and sundry.”
