Bodies Of Innocent Residents Litter Community After DEADLY Airstrike, You Won’t Believe Those Allegedly Behind This
The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) is facing accusations from residents of Jika da Kolo and Yadin Kidandan in Kaduna State, who claim that a misguided airstrike during an anti- terror operation resulted in the tragic loss of at least 23 civilian lives. The community alleged that the NAF’ s mistake led to the unnecessary deaths of innocent people.

Local sources reported that the casualties included individuals who were praying at a mosque and vendors at a nearby marketplace. However, the Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has denied these allegations, asserting that the operation precisely targeted a terrorist logistics hub located in Yadi Forest, and not civilian populations.
” Reports from independent sources confirmed that the logistics base was totally destroyed and scores of terrorists were killed as a result of the attack, ” said Group Captain Kabiru Ali, NAF’ s Deputy Director of Public Relations and Information.
Residents countered the NAF’ s statement, insisting that most of the casualties were civilians, ” the strike disfigured the bodies of most of those affected. We gathered 23 mutilated bodies and buried them according to Islamic rites” , a villager claimed.
Abdullahi Ismail, the councillor representing the area, verified the incident and pointed out that although Yadin Kidandan is currently under the control of bandits, many innocent residents remain in the area due to displacement and having no alternative location to relocate to.
Unfortunately, more survivors described hearing a plane approach before an explosion shook the community, ” family members went to the scene and recognized their relatives for the funeral” , a villager recounted.
The community is now demanding that the federal and Kaduna State governments launch an investigation into the incident. As one local resident lamented, ” we are going through a harrowing time” , expressing the community’ s pain and distress in the aftermath of the tragedy.
Meanwhile, Group Captain Ali justified the operation, stating that it was supported by thorough intelligence gathering, surveillance, and reconnaissance efforts, which confirmed the presence of terrorists at the targeted location. He emphasized that the Nigerian Air Force (NAF), in conjunction with ground forces, will persist in conducting operations to neutralize terrorist threats in the North- west and North- central regions.
