Nigerian man drags niece, sister-in-law to court for doing these to his wife
A man identified as Shehu Usman has sued his niece and sister-in-law, Hauwa’u Muhammad and Jamila Kasim, respectively, in a Shari’a court sitting at Magajin Gari, Kaduna State for allegedly intimidating his wife.
The defendants are being charged with intent insult, intimidation and trespass.
Usman, a resident of Ungwan Shanu area of Kaduna, alleged that the defendants entered his wife’s room, insulted her and threatened to physically assault her.
He prayed the court to grant him justice.
However, the defendants, who are married women, pleaded not guilty to the charges levelled against them.
The judge, Malam Anas Khalifa, granted bail to the defendants on the condition that they provide a community leader in their community as surety.
Khalifa ordered the complainant to present witnesses on October 16 for the prosecution of the defendants.
