TROUBLE For Nnamdi Kanu As His Lawyer EXPOSES What Happened After His FEARLESS Statements During Last Court Appearance
Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), is facing new challenges after his fearless statements during his last court appearance. His lawyer, Aloy Ejimakor, has cried out in desperation, unsure of when he will next see his client due to the Department of State Services (DSS) blocking access to Kanu.
The latest development comes barely 24 hours after Justice Binta Nyako recused herself from Kanu’ s trial, which has been ongoing since July 2021. Nnamdi Kanu’ s legal team attempted to visit him at the DSS detention facility but was rebuffed by operatives. This move has sparked concerns about Kanu’ s isolation and solitary confinement.
Ejimakor expressed his frustration, stating that the DSS has canceled all future visitations to Kanu, allegedly as retaliation for ” chasing away Justice Binta Nyako from the case & causing her embarrassment. ” This drastic measure has effectively cut off Kanu’ s access to his lawyers, sparking fears about his well- being and future.
Kanu’ s legal team has accused the DSS of violating subsisting court orders and the Constitution. The statement released to Vanguard emphasized the gravity of the situation: ” What this means is that the DSS, acting on behalf of the Federal Government of Nigeria, has unlawfully isolated #MNK from his Lawyers, thus making his solitary confinement absolute. ”
Meanwhile, Kanu has decided to take his case to the appellate court, challenging the ruling. This move follows the Court of Appeal’ s recent judgment freeing Nnamdi Kanu, citing his forceful rendition from Kenya as a violation of international conventions and treaties.
The unfolding events have raised concerns about Kanu’ s safety and the fairness of his trial. As tensions escalate, the international community is watching closely. Will Kanu receive justice, or will his isolation continue? The coming days will be crucial in determining the outcome.
