WAHALA! ! Nigerians SHOCKED As APC Chieftain Revealed That Those Who’ll Rescue Nigeria Not Yet Born
All Progressives Congress (APC) member and ardent admirer of President Bola Tinubu Joe Igbokwe has claimed that individuals who will save Nigeria are not born.
Igbokwe, a participant in the active campaign for Tinubu prior to the election, made this statement in response to a question about the crisis caused by rising living expenses. Igbokwe bemoaned the current price of N100, 000 for a bag of rice in a Facebook post on Friday.
” With all the rice mills we have in Nigeria, my wife just told me that a bag of rice is now ₦100k plus. Without sounding immodest, I am constrained to say that the men and women that will rescue this country from self- inflicted pains and tears are not born yet, ” he wrote.
Igbokwe, who has held nearly every governorship in Lagos since 1999, has recently departed from his platform by criticizing several of the Tinubu administration’ s policies.
He bemoaned the increase in the electricity tariff two weeks prior and requested Tinubu to investigate. Three weeks prior, Igbokwe bemoaned on his Facebook page that he could hardly last a day with N20, 000 worth of units.
He said: ” PBAT, please look into the new electricity tariff in Nigeria. It will kill businesses if the government does not act as quickly as possible. I have a small office in Surulere with about about 7 units of AC.
” We used to buy 300 plus units for N20, 0000. Yesterday we bought N20, 000 worth of units and it lasted for just one day. They call it band A group. I pray that we review this. ”
Opinion: The freedom of this country is in the hand of its citizen’ s unity or disintegration, unless we all unite or go our separate ways thing won’ t change. The best time to plant a tree was 20 years ago. The second- best time is now.
