According to Sergeant Modupe Olaluwoye, the Police prosecutor, Aderibigbe’ s actions were a direct response to her son’ s apprehension. Upon learning that the pastor had taken her son to the station, she entered the church building, removed her clothes, and proceeded to desecrate the altar. This behavior not only outraged the religious community but also led to Aderibigbe’ s arraignment before the Yaba Magistrate’ s Court in Lagos.
