“Hon Obayangban Donates Reading and Writing Materials to Over 5,000 Schoolchildren in Irele, Ondo State”
In his continued effort towards supporting the educational pursuits of citizens, the Special Assistant on Forestry to the Governor of Ondo State, Hon Bidemi Joshua Obayangban, has donated reading and writing materials to pupils in secondary schools in Irele Local Government Area of Ondo State.
Held on Monday at the playgrounds of public schools located within Irele Local Government, including Methodist Primary School, Ajagba, Methodist Primary School, Irele, Oyenusi Memorial Grammar School, Irele, Omi Community Grammar School, Ode Omi, St. Andrew Anglican Primary School, Irele, no fewer than 5,000 exercise books and other essential reading and writing materials were given out by Hon Obayangban.
Represented by Otunba Daisi Akinrodoye Vice Chairman, Irele local government, Hon Obayangban said the generous donations were a token of his love for the younger generation, particularly the indigent ones, and a show of commitment to their educational pursuits.
“This act signifies our profound commitment towards to supporting the educational plans and pursuits of the underprivileged students. We do pledge to continue providing essential material and financial assistance to those most in need and we are not deraling. This commitment aligns with Governor Aiyedatiwa’s visionary plan for a brighter, more prosperous future.” Obayangban said.
