NSCDC Arrests Wife Who Killed Her Stepson & Dumped His Corpse In River; See Her Confession
A housewife has landed in serious trouble after she killed her stepson and dumped her body inside a river in Benue State. She secretly perpetrated the murder and all her attempts to cover up failed as she was caught by villagers who subsequently reported to security operatives who got her arrested. When she was arrested, she revealed what made her kill the boy.

The operatives of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) have arrested a 17- year- old housewife, Nguemo Ikyowe, for killing a 3- year- old boy, Vanen Ikyowe, who happens to be her stepson. The suspect was the second wife of her husband, who at the same time happens to be the father of the murdered boy. The suspect and the boy went to the farm together when she perpetrated the murder.

The incident happened in Ginde village in the Guma Local Government Area of Benue State. The manner in which the suspect killed the boy was not disclosed but it was gathered that she carried the corpse of the boy, after successfully killing him, and threw it inside a river. She was unfortunately caught while trying to dispose of the body of the boy.

The State NSCDC Commandant, Mrs Larai Bitrus, who confirmed the incident said the agency received a distress call from the village that the suspect had killed the boy and dumped his body. Operatives were deployed to the village and the accused was arrested.
