At a press conference on Wednesday, September 18, 2024, in Port Harcourt, the commissioner of the Rivers State Police, Mr. Olatunji Disu, reported on the successful recovery of an adolescent who had been abducted. Disu continued by saying that after being taken to Port Harcourt, the state capital of Rivers state, the teenager, who looks to be 16 years old, was sexually assaulted by her abductors.
