A 60- year- old man is said to have given up the ghost while in the act of lovemaking with his 40- year- old lover. The deceased man whose identity was later identified as Stephen Okom reportedly breathed his last while in the moment of intense sëxual activity with his woman.
The tragic incident, which took place in the usually quiet town of Akwanserem in the Adansi Asokwa District of the Ashanti region, has left the local population reeling in shock and disbelief. The community is still trying to process the sudden and unexpected loss of life, which occurred during a private moment between the deceased and his partner, and many are finding it difficult to comprehend the circumstances surrounding the event.
According to reports, Stephen Okom, a 60- year- old man, was in the company of his lover, a 40- year- old woman, when the sudden and tragic incident occurred. The lovers were presumably enjoying a private moment together, unaware of the fate that was about to befall them. It is reported that during this intimate encounter, Stephen Okom suddenly succumbed to unknown circumstances, leading to his untimely passing.
Reacting to what happened, neighbours claimed that, there were no suspicious noises or disturbances emanating from the residence where Stephen Okom and his lover were spending time together. The tranquility of the surroundings was only disrupted by the arrival of emergency services, who rushed to the scene in response to a distress call. Unfortunately, despite swift medical attention, Okom’ s life could not be saved. He was hastily transported to the Fomena Government Hospital, but tragically, he was pronounced dead upon arrival, leaving the community in shock and disbelief.
Martha Nsowah, a 40- year- old woman, has been identified as the person who was with Stephen Okom at the time of his passing. She is currently cooperating with the authorities and providing information to assist with the investigation into the circumstances surrounding Okom’ s death. Nsowah is in police custody, where she is being questioned and providing statements to help clarify the events of that day.
The relatives, Michael Aboagye Tuffour and John Ampofo, revealed that Stephen Okom had not been in poor health, apart from some minor leg pains now and then. They were shocked and devastated upon receiving the news of his sudden demise and quickly made their way to the scene. The deceased’ s body has since been transported to the Fomena Government Hospital mortuary, where it will undergo an autopsy to ascertain the circumstances surrounding his death.
