Unknown Persons Kill Man, Slit His Throat & Dump His Corpse On The Road
The residents of a community in Yobe State were shocked to discover the lifeless body of a young man on the road. The deceased man was brutally killed by his killers. His corpse was found with his throat sliced. When the residents found the body, they informed the police who went to the scene and also commenced an investigation. There was something found beside his corpse, also a suspect has been arrested, the detailed report will be disclosed here.
The Yobe State Police Command has confirmed the discovery of the death of a 25- year- old man, who was killed and dumped on the road in the Nayi- Nawa area of Damaturu, the State capital. The discovery was made after the command received a distress call from residents about the incident. It seems the deceased man also lived in the community, he was identified as Lawan Adamu.
Adamu was murdered with his throat sliced by unknown people. It was gathered that his corpse was found on the road on Sunday and when police stormed the scene (after receiving the report), they found the deceased with deep throat cuts and multiple stab wounds. A knife stained with blood was left beside his body. The knife was recovered while the body was taken to the morgue of the General Hospital in Damaturu after it was ascertained by a medical doctor (in the hospital) that he was dead.
The police commenced an investigation into the incident and it led to the arrest of a 24- year- old man identified as Yunusa Isa, also known as Abba, who was said to be the prime suspect. However, the connection he has to the death of Adamu is yet to be disclosed by the police.
While speaking on the incident, the Yobe State Commissioner of Police, CP Garba Ahmed, directed detectives to expand their investigation and make sure they unravel the circumstances surrounding the death of Adamu. The police boss also assured the general public that the investigation would be fast and justice would be duly served.
