The Lord’ s Chosen Charismatic Revival Ministries has responded to the internet ridicule of a church member’ s testimony.
Pastor Chidi Louis, the church’ s Head of Public Relations and Media, discussed the subject with reporters in Lagos State on Monday.
Louis claimed that the videos were either manufactured or taken out of context for mischief.
He stated, ” Nigerians should dismiss the bogus video and come to our church platform to hear the entire testimony for a better understanding.
” The woman’ s story occurred in a dream, not in reality. Don’ t believe everything you see on the internet.
” Bloggers often edit content to ridicule the work of God. Most of these bloggers are wicked and devilish. ”
The church released the full video of the lady’ s testimony on TikTok to clarify the situation.
The controversy arose from a viral video of a woman defeating four armed robbers and collecting a pistol from one of them.
Louis added: ” Nigerians should visit the Church’ s platform and listen to the complete testimonies for better understanding. The woman defeated the armed men in a dream.
” Don’ t believe everything you see on the internet. They just cut one part and made it look real. The woman was explaining her dream. The viral video is a fake one. It was doctored.
” Most of these bloggers are wicked and devilish. They edited this testimony to ridicule God’ s work” , he concluded.
A lot of people have reacted to this, someone said; ” They said they are here to testify, they never said they came to tell their dream, this man is looking for something to cover up but I know he is not different from Papa J, Oyedepo, Adeboye, Kumuyi, Suleiman & co” .
Another person wrote; ” This has been the pattern of their testimony since. It’ s either Lion is chasing them in their dreams or they are chasing lions. God bless us” .
