SERIOUS TENSION As Yoruba Group Follows Amaka Sonnberger’s Path, Threatens To Invade Edo, Kidnap Monarch & Rape His Queen
Yoruba First, led by Gbomka Ebiri, a US- based Yoruba group leader, has threatened to invade Edo State, kidnap their king, rape his wife, and drive him to Calabar in Cross River State.
The leader of the Yoruba organization, who is based in Atlanta, Georgia, and whose LinkedIn page indicates that he attended University of Calicut from 2013 to 2018, issued the warning during a live social media gathering.
In the disturbing audio of the live meeting posted on X by a user with the account, @Voiceofigbos, Ebiri said, ” I will invade Edo and kidnap your king and have his wife r@ped and chase him to Calabar like the white people did. ”
Inquiring about the action the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NIDCOM) will take against Ebiri, SaharaReporters called Abdurrahman Balogun’ s mobile number. However, he did not respond. At the time of submitting this complaint, he had not responded to a text message that had been sent to him.
Ebiri’ s warning coincides with the national outcry sparked by the request for widespread poisoning of Yoruba and Benin people made by a Nigerian woman living in Ontario, Canada, Amaka Patience Sonnberger. In a TikTok live meeting video that went viral on social media, Sonnberger made the call and threatened to start poisoning Yoruba and Benin people at her workplace.
Following a national outcry over her threat, the Nigerian House of Representatives and the NiDCOM acted quickly and wrote to the Canadian authorities, resulting in her detention.
