In this video, a woman accused Senator Abbo of sexually harassing her and claimed that he used the earlier video to blackmail her. However, during a press conference on Monday, Senator Abbo vehemently denied the allegations. He accused his political opponents of fabricating the story to tarnish his reputation and undermine his political career. ” How can you identify a person without seeing his face, his body, only parts of his legs, and you said it is Senator Abbo? ” he questioned. He emphasized that these attempts at blackmail would not deter him from his political ambitions.

Abbo pointed to a similar incident involving another senator from the northern region of Nigeria, who was captured in a compromising video but still managed to win re- election. Abbo confidently stated, ” My people love me. No amount of blackmail can stop me. ”
