In the midst of this controversy, an old video of Remi Tinubu, the wife of Nigerian President Bola Tinubu, has resurfaced. The video was shared by Simon Ekpa, a self- proclaimed Prime Minister of the Biafra Republic Government in Exile.
In the video, Remi Tinubu allegedly makes threatening remarks about the Igbo people in Lagos. Ekpa used this video to criticize the Nigerian government, accusing it of harboring hostility towards the Igbo community. He suggested that the actions of the woman in Canada could be seen as a response to such attitudes.
