BIAFRA! Simon Ekpa Dares TINUBU’S Govt, Invites Nigerian Military Chiefs To Finland; SEE Why
The Finland- based pro- Biafra agitator, Simon Ekpa, has issued a bold response to the recent efforts by the Nigerian Government to secure his extradition.
On Tuesday, August 27, 2024, the Defence Headquarters (DHQ) announced that the government is engaging the Finnish Government through the European Union (EU) to facilitate Ekpa’ s return to Nigeria.
This move comes in the wake of Ekpa’ s announcement of a significant event scheduled for December 2, 2024, where he plans to present the map of the ” 40 United States of Biafra” and officially declare the Biafra Republic.
Ekpa, who refers to himself as the Prime Minister of the Biafra Government in Exile (BRGIE), has also threatened a month- long lockdown of government offices in Nigeria’ s South- East if Nnamdi Kanu, the detained leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), is not released.
The Federal Government in a statement by Major General Edward Buba, the Director of Defence, Media Operations at DHQ, disclosed that military operations against IPOB and the Eastern Security Network (ESN) would continue unabated.
” The Federal Government would respond appropriately to the Finnish Government through the EU. On the part of the military, troops would sustain operations against IPOB/ESN, ” Buba asserted.
In response to these developments, Ekpa issued a statement on Wednesday, August 28, 2024, in which he invited Nigerian Government officials to participate in the upcoming Biafra Convention in Finland.
Ekpa described the convention as an opportunity for Nigerian representatives to engage in a direct debate with him regarding his push for Biafra’ s liberation.
He also expressed that this would provide a platform for an open discussion about Nigeria’ s future and the legitimacy of the Biafra government in exile.
” We are inviting them as Nigeria’ s representatives and observers; the government of Biafra will recognize their presence in Finland, and an opportunity to engage Ekpa on the podium for a debate on Nigeria, ” Ekpa stated.
He extended a personal invitation to Major General Buba, noting that a special accreditation card had already been approved for him.
Ekpa argued that the Nigerian Government’ s continuous appeals to the EU and Finland for action against him only serve to validate the legitimacy of the Biafra government in exile and the de facto Biafra government within Nigeria.
” The constant call by the Nigerian Government on the EU and Finland to take action against me only confirms the legitimacy and potency of the Biafra government in exile, and the Biafra de facto government in the homeland. We will bring Biafra from exile, ” Ekpa declared.
