BACKLASH! Atiku Goes Wild, Drops Provoking Bombshell After Bode George Tells Him To Abandon His 2027 Presidential Ambition
The 2023 presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar, has voiced his deep concern about the ongoing challenges facing Nigeria, placing more emphasis on the nation’ s current struggles than on the possibility of running for the presidency in 2027.
This statement from Atiku came in response to advice from Bode George, a respected member of the PDP’ s Board of Trustees (BoT), who suggested that Atiku should abandon any thoughts of contesting in the 2027 presidential election.
George had pointed to the example of U. S. President Joe Biden, advising Atiku to step back from presidential ambitions and focus on other matters.
However, Atiku, through a statement released by his spokesman Paul Ibe, criticized this focus on the 2027 election, calling it ” insensitive” given the current situation in the country. Atiku stressed that his primary concern is not the distant future but the immediate and pressing issues that Nigerians are facing daily.
” We cannot afford to put the cart before the horse, ” Atiku said. ” At this point, Atiku Abubakar’ s preoccupation is not 2027. His concern is about 2024, 2025, 2026, and beyond. His concern is about the plight of Nigerians who are literally going through hell because of the failed trial- and- error policies of this administration. ”
Atiku’ s statement highlights his view that the focus should be on addressing the current hardships faced by Nigerians, rather than speculating about the next presidential election. He noted that the administration of President Bola Tinubu has exacerbated the difficulties of ordinary citizens, leaving them ” far worse off in every facet of life. ”
Atiku’ s remarks underscore a broader concern that the political discourse should be focused on finding solutions to the current crises, rather than prematurely engaging in the politics of the next election cycle.
