Deadly REVOLUTION? US Lawmaker Sends WARNING To Tinubu; Speaks Tough Over Senators’ Salary
A United States legislator representing Albany County in the 7th District of New York has sent a warning message to President Bola Tinubu, urging him ” to avert a soon- to- come revolution” amid the hardship in the country.
The Lawmaker, Beroro Efekoro, urged the President to carry Nigerians along in his economy policies and also condemned the huge amount of money the Senators are receiving every month as salaries and allowances.
According to him, the politicians and the federal government are pushing Nigerians to the wall, stressing that the outcome may not be favourable when the people can no longer endure the situation.
” The Nigerian government and politicians continue to push Nigerians to the wall but forget that Nigerians never forget. Nigerians only let things slide for as long as we can, ” the Nigerian- born US Lawmaker said.
It should be noted that this comes amid the controversies that surround the salary and monthly allowances of the Senator. While a member of the house recently claimed that he received N21 million monthly, the house debunked the claim, stressing that the Lawmakers are not earning such an amount of money.

” The one who made the allegations was a former senator and knows how much he was receiving. Even the commission, the person who made the press statement, knows that the breakdown you have provided is what is on paper for the sake of formality, ” Beroro said.
Speaking further, he said President Tinubu’ s government needs to state its economy policies and make it transparent enough for every Nigerian to know what is happening.
” The administration needs to state their plan for the economy and carry Nigerians along with whatever their intentions are to avert a soon- to- come revolution. Tinubu’ s administration needs to tell Nigerians how much has been saved by the Nigerian government through subsidy removal and how that money has been utilized, ” he said.
