The Personal Assistant to the famous caterer in Ondo state and a Chief Executive Officer, CEO whose name was recognized as Mrs Debbie Olakunbi Adene, has admitted and given reasons why he and the driver of the deceased, came up with a plan to end her life just few days after she celebrated her birthday.
According to law enforcement officials, the suspects confessed that they wanted the money that was showered and sprayed on their deceased boss during her birthday party.
Police officers swiftly apprehended the PA, who’ s identity was withheld, a few weeks after the woman was brutally killed in her home on Oda Road in the Akure metropolis, the capital city of Ondo state.
The late Olakunbi was killed just after turning 54 years old as her neighbors found her dead body on her bed which prompted them to notify the house caretaker.

Tragically, the mother of two allegedly had the birthday party at her house, provided a variety of wines and beverages, and then shared a lot of her photos on social media.
In response to the above- mentioned occurrence, Dele Adene, his spouse of the deceased, had voiced worries about the length of time it was taking to apprehend his wife’ s murderer? .
Adene, said recently in an interview that ” I was told that my wife’ s corpse was found on her bed in a pool of blood which showed she was hacked to death. I cannot believe that no arrests have been made up till the moment of talking to you. I feel suspects should have been arrested” .
” Her phone should be tracked and I don’ t know how dwellers in the building did not know such thing happened in a house with four flats apartment” , he emphasized strongly.
Although, a police detective who was conversing with reporters claimed that the deceased personal assistant had admitted to the murder and was also giving the authorities helpful details regarding the events leading up to the homicide.
Furthermore, rumors circulated that the knife used to hack the deceased caterer to death belonged to her driver, who is currently at large.
Attempts to get in touch with Funmi Odunlami, the state police image maker, were unsuccessful since she did not return calls. But, a police official verified that one suspect has been taken into custody in connection with the victim’ s killing.
