MUST- READ! Secret Of TINUBU’S Govt EXPOSED As Protesters Reveal Attempt To Bribe Them (Details)
The determined Nigerians youths protesting against the administration of President Bola Tinubu have exposed how the government tried to bribe them with money to stop them from returning to the streets on Monday.
According to the report, the government made efforts to prevent the continuation of the protest and even offered money to the demonstrators in Lagos. However, the money was reportedly rejected as the youths continue the 10- days #EndBadGovernance protest.
According to the report, the youths on Monday gathered at the Gani Fawehinmi Freedom Park in Ojota area of Lagos State. They were reportedly chanting ” Sanwo- Olu is a thief” after rejecting the N5, 000 bribe from the government.
In a video which has gone viral on social media, one of the protesters with a megaphone said: ” Make price of garri come down. They came to deceive us with N5, 000, but we rejected it. We don’ t need their money. We will continue to protest. This is our nation. ”
Meanwhile, this comes a few days after the government allegedly hired some youths to stage a counter- protest against #EndBadGovernance. It was gathered that the youths, who were described as President Tinubu supporters, were paid an advance of N2, 000 but were told to return for the remaining N3, 000 after the conclusion of the protest.
One of the protesters who confirmed the development, said they were promised N5, 000 but only received N2, 000, stressing that the money motivated them to stage the protest even though they are aware of the economy hardship and hunger crisis in the country.
” We were promised N5, 000 to demonstrate against #EndBadGovernanceInNigeria, ” the demonstrator who speaks on the condition of anonymity revealed.
” They gave us N2, 000 advance and asked us to come back for the balance of N3, 000 after the end of the protest, ” he added.
It should be noted that the protest has reportedly turned to violence in many parts of the country. Many protesters have been killed, while others were injured by the security operatives.
