Two men, Temitope Arinola and Mufutau Kola, have been remanded in prison after they allegedly killed and dismembered a woman. They appeared before Iyaganku Magistrates’ Court, Ibadan, on Wednesday, where they faced charges of conspiracy and murder.

Prosecutor Insp Iyabo Oladoyin told the court that they committed the offences on May 17, on Akinyele-Ojoo Expressway, Ibadan. He alleged that they unlawfully caused the death of one Mrs Eniola Shakirat by strangling and dismembering her.
He said their offences contravene Sections 516 and 324 of the Criminal Laws of Oyo State, 2000. The two men have no fixed address and are facing serious charges that may lead to life imprisonment or even a death sentence if found guilty.
