See Shocking Story of How Police Arrest Two People After They Killed and Shared a Woman’s Body into Pieces
Two men, Temitope Arinola and Mufutau Kola, have been remanded in prison after they allegedly killed and dismembered a woman. They appeared before Iyaganku Magistrates’ Court, Ibadan, on Wednesday, where they faced charges of conspiracy and murder.
Magistrate Adebola Adeola did not take their pleas as the court lacks jurisdiction. He directed the police to return the case file to the Oyo State Director of Public Prosecutions for advice. He adjourned the case until July 30 for mention.
Prosecutor Insp Iyabo Oladoyin told the court that they committed the offences on May 17, on Akinyele-Ojoo Expressway, Ibadan. He alleged that they unlawfully caused the death of one Mrs Eniola Shakirat by strangling and dismembering her.
He said their offences contravene Sections 516 and 324 of the Criminal Laws of Oyo State, 2000. The two men have no fixed address and are facing serious charges that may lead to life imprisonment or even a death sentence if found guilty.
People in Ibadan are shocked by the news of the gruesome murder and are calling for justice to be served. They want to ensure that the perpetrators are brought to book and made to face the law.
The police are investigating the matter and working hard to gather all the evidence needed to prosecute the case. They assure the public that they will do everything possible to ensure justice is served.
The case has been adjourned until July 30, and people are waiting to see what happens next. They hope that justice will be served and the perpetrators will face the law.”
